This page explains how to ask Whapiz to delete data it holds about you, including data that came from Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp.
Business owners and Whapiz users
1. Disconnect a channel or account. In Whapiz settings you can disconnect WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram or any other connection at any time. After you disconnect, Whapiz stops receiving and sending messages on that account. To also revoke the permission you gave Whapiz, remove it in your Facebook settings, under "Apps and Websites".
2. Delete your account. The account admin can delete it in Whapiz settings. If the account has invoices or payments, deletion is done by contacting us (step 3).
3. Ask us. Email support@whapiz.com from the account's email address, with the subject "Data deletion request" and your business name.
- We will confirm that we received it, with a request number.
- We will reply within 30 days and tell you what was deleted and, if anything was not, why.
Customers of a business that uses Whapiz
If a business you deal with uses Whapiz, that business decides about your data, and Whapiz holds it on its behalf. Please contact the business first. If you write to us, we will pass your request to the business and help it handle it.
What is kept after deletion
Some data is kept as the law requires, for example billing records for tax purposes, and copies in backups for a limited time. Details are in section 7 of our Privacy Policy.
